Pastors Travis Greene and Jacqueline Gyamfi Greene are both Georgia natives that met at Georgia Southern University – where Travis gained a degree in Business Management and Jackie earned her degree in Biology. In recent years, Travis has worked full time in ministry as a youth pastor and worship director. In addition, Travis has traveled across the world as a gospel recording artist and speaker. Jackie fulfilled one of her dreams of becoming Dr. Jackie Greene and receiving a Doctorate of Dentistry in 2014. Dr. Jackie leads "Forward Women", a dynamic ministry empowering ladies to walk out their God-given purpose.  The Greene Family is on a mission to redefine culture for God. Each with unique styles, they lead Forward City Church.  They enjoy laughing, dancing, and sports with their two sons, David Jace & Travis Joshua.

What is to be said of a child who has been pronounced dead twice in his life before entering kindergarten? Is it fate and favor that the child is still here? Or, is it the power of a praying mother calling on the name of Jesus so fervently that the circumstances defy all of the odds?  By growing up in culturally diverse regions and experiencing various church denominations, Pastor Travis Greene embraces his unique call for adaptability. Through his own broad style at the intersection of music and ministry – Travis accepts the challenge to continually unify the body of Christ as one. He passionately uses his gift as a tool to inspire, heal and expose others to the transformative love of Jesus Christ.

Travis stays grounded by maintaining accountability by his spiritual covering and by being accountable to those he mentors & travels with as he believes it gives him a reason to step-up to the challenges he dishes out. The mission of Travis is not political but is his personal responsibility – to expose this generation to the glory of God. The foundational scripture on which he stands is Romans 8:28. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

Dr. Jacqueline Gyamfi Greene is a wife, mother, dentist, Co-Pastor of Forward City Church and – a Forward Woman. A melting pot of traditional southern values and Ghanaian heritage, Jackie’s upbringing and young adulthood emboldened in her: authenticity, individuality and the power in being the “you” that God created you to be.

With a nod to the importance of duality – Jackie, an accomplished scholar, is currently a full-time wife & mother along with leading Forward City Church.  Jackie’s highly regarded passion for ministry was birthed during her undergraduate tenure at Georgia Southern University – where she met her husband Travis. Jackie is a firm believer in the power of prayer – and she is passionate about sharing the fundamental truths of faith, prayer and authentic self-worth for women everywhere.
